Question: Can I bill time for travel on my Government Contract?
Answer: Without knowing the specifics of your contract I cannot say with certainty; however, generally nonproductive time related to official travel to and from one’s temporary duty station is not reimbursable. If you are able to work an hour during the time you are traveling, you should be able to bill for that hour. If you are unsure if you can bill for time related to travel ask the COR or the Contracting Officer.
