Get to the point.
I just got to the point.
We were not trained to get to the point in school. When I wrote essays, I was trained to present my conclusions at the end of the essay. The essay was only supposed to come up with a tentative conclusion.
Time is valuable. Life is short. Paragraphs should also be short.
